Black Gryphon Farms was actually born in mid 1997, as one of the foremost stables of another SIM game, the now-deceased Morning Dew Farms. I left when the game shut down, and stumbled upon HFSHC in late 1998. BGF has been in exsistance ever since.

The farm itself is one of HFSHC's largest and most productive. We are located in Somerset, Colorado, in the heart of the mountains. Home to more than 150 horses, BGF has three barns, 120 acres of turnout land, and more than 20 miles of trails in addition to our three Cross-Country trails. BGF has both indoor and outdoor washracks, as well as 2 round pens for work with young horses or lunging.

While BGF specializes in the art of dressage, we have expanded to accomodate horses of all disciplines. We boast 4 dressage rings (2 inside, 2 outside), an Olympic sized outdoor show arena, an outdoor jumping arena (complete with permanent, adjustable jumps), and an outdoor Western events/Saddleseat arena. Because BGF hosts an average of two shows a month, we also have 200 temporary stalls for our competition guests.

BGF has three barns on the premisis. The Main Barn is home to our mares and geldings, and most of our foals. You can find all of our stallions on Stud Row, one of the finest collections of stallions available in HFSHC. Our third barn is available for renting purposes, so if you are interested, please contact me. Each barn is equipped with 45 stalls and two tackrooms, with an indoor washrack in the Main Barn.
